Saad Naim, CFA

Saad is the Chief Investment Officer and Board Member of Morood Capital, where he leads the firm’s Managing function and oversees its Investment Management activities. He is responsible for investment strategy, portfolio construction, asset allocation, investment oversight, and risk management across the firm’s funds, client portfolios, and managed investment mandates.

Saad joined Morood Investment Company in 2013 and built extensive experience in discretionary portfolio management and multi-asset investing. During his tenure, he was responsible for setting client asset allocations and return objectives, implementing strategic and tactical portfolio positioning, and overseeing investments across capital markets, real estate, and private equity.

He also led the teams responsible for these asset classes and played a key role in developing investment strategies and risk management frameworks designed to achieve client objectives within defined risk parameters. In addition, Saad supported clients on wealth advisory matters, providing him with a broad understanding of client circumstances and long-term investment needs.

At Morood Capital, Saad brings this extensive experience to the leadership of the firm’s Managing function, overseeing the development and execution of investment strategies and maintaining a disciplined approach to portfolio management and risk across the investment platform.

Saad is a CFA Charterholder and holds a Master of Science in Investment Management from Cass Business School in London and an MBA in Finance from the Institute of Business Management in Karachi.
